“Coffee Trip” the t-shirt tinted with specialty coffee
We get together with friends from We Are Not Friends, the Barcelona streetwear brand, to bring you a new joint project… a “tye die” t-shirt tinted with our coffee!
What is Tie Dye?
El tie-dye (which in Spanish literally means “tying-dying”), is a technique that has centuries of history, but it has been known under that name since 1920.
It is a process in which fabrics are knotted or tied and then dyed. This process is usually done with cotton, but for the ink to take well you should always use natural fiber. You can use any fabric that is Natural.
So when we met with Mathias from WANF the idea was clear; create a tie-dye t-shirt but with Hidden Coffee Roasters coffee. The objective is to rescue that hippie and acid past and capture it on a t-shirt through our Drip&Trip.
We got our hands on the roastery and with this ancient technique, we made a short run of 30 limited edition t-shirts.

The result of all this madness; a high-quality t-shirt made in Portugal with a Japanese fit and a tie-dye print created with coffee 🤩 Unfortunately we couldn't even upload them to the online store because they were all sold out at the presentation event we held at Hidden El Born. But we leave you some photos.
